Why Secundra exists

Secundra was founded in 2025 with one idea in mind, every organisation deserves honest cybersecurity. Including the smaller, often overlooked SMEs and non profits.

Our story

Founded in 2025, driven by experience

Secundra was founded in July 2025. We noticed that most cybersecurity vendors focus on large enterprises, while business owners who work hard on their own company, think of insurance offices, real estate agencies, accountancy firms, R&D companies, gyms and non-profits, were often left empty-handed.

Our goal is simple, to build an affordable and transparent formula that brings real peace of mind to smaller organisations. No oversized contracts, no hidden costs.

Behind Secundra are Brian and Ian: two driven entrepreneurs who know IT and cybersecurity inside out and genuinely love helping other business owners run their company smoothly and securely. What you get is a partner that is technically capable and humanly approachable.

At Secundra you do not deal with rotating account managers. You talk to the people who also make the technical and strategic calls. Together we cover the full breadth of cybersecurity, from hardware and networking to compliance and governance.

Brian lectures Infra & Cyber at UC Leuven-Limburg and combines his academic background with years of hands on work in networking, systems and cybersecurity. He previously helped build the infrastructure at Vanden Borre as a systems and network engineer. Within Secundra he sets the technical strategy, leads the financial direction of the company, and builds stable, secure and automated IT environments for SMEs and non profits.

Off duty

When he's not tuning firewalls, he's tuning revs. Brian is a passionate motorcycle rider.

Ian works as a cybersecurity advisor, guiding organisations on security strategy, threat management and compliance. He translates technical risks into strategic decisions and feels at home in modern sectors such as insurance and financial services. Within Secundra he leads the compliance trajectories around NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001, and steers the software that powers our security and monitoring services.
